Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join a team responsible for designing and delivering scalable backend services powering business-critical platforms. You will contribute to the development of new solutions, enhance existing systems, and participate in technical discussions that shape architecture and engineering practices. This role is suitable for engineers who enjoy building reliable distributed systems, solving complex technical challenges, and working across the full software development lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance backend services and platform capabilities
  • Participate in the implementation of new products and strategic initiatives
  • Maintain and improve existing applications, ensuring reliability and performance
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and propose effective implementation approaches
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and solution design decisions
  • Review code, share feedback, and support engineering quality standards across the team
  • Collaborate with colleagues during onboarding and knowledge-transfer activities
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to services and integrations
  • Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to long-term improvements
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience building backend applications and services
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented design, and architectural patterns
  • Experience designing and developing distributed or service-oriented systems
  • Good knowledge of relational database technologies and data modeling concepts
  • Hands-on experience building and consuming APIs and asynchronous communication mechanisms
  • Familiarity with containerized environments and modern deployment practices
  • Understanding of testing strategies and software quality practices
  • Experience working with source control systems and collaborative development workflows
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Experience with Go (Golang) and backend service development
  • Experience with web service frameworks and API development
  • Experience with database access libraries and data persistence layers
  • Knowledge of concurrent programming concepts and high-performance application design
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with messaging and event-driven architectures
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms
  • Experience with Git-based development workflows

  • Experience with NoSQL or analytical databases
  • Exposure to cloud-native environments and public cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices
  • Experience with Java, Rust, Python, Node.js, or C#
