Role Overview
Our client is looking for a Game Mathematician to join a product development team focused on creating engaging online gaming experiences. The role is centered around designing, validating, and optimizing mathematical models that define game mechanics, probabilities, and player experience. This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, a solid foundation in probability and statistics, and an interest in applying mathematics to real-world gaming products.

Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop mathematical models that support the mechanics and payout structures of online games.
- Evaluate the statistical accuracy and feasibility of new game concepts and features.
- Build simulations to verify game behavior, probabilities, and expected performance.
- Analyze and optimize existing mathematical models to improve gameplay and overall product quality.
- Document mathematical calculations, assumptions, and model behavior in a clear and structured manner.
- Work closely with software engineers throughout the implementation process to ensure mathematical models are accurately translated into production.
- Participate in the development of new game concepts by providing mathematical input during the design phase.
- Validate implemented game logic through testing, simulations, and analytical review.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline with a strong emphasis on probability theory.
- Excellent understanding of probability, statistics, combinatorics, and mathematical modeling.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex mathematical problems with precision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to analysis and validation.
- Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and structured way.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

- Experience developing simulations or working with mathematical modeling software.
- Programming experience in any language such as Python, C++, Java, or similar.
- Previous professional experience as a mathematician, quantitative analyst, or software developer.
- Experience in the iGaming, gaming, or gambling industry.
