Role Overview
Our client, an international technology organization operating in the online gaming space, is looking for a Principal UX/UI Designer to lead design strategy within its Online Games division. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on shaping the long-term design vision, elevating product experience standards, and driving user-centered innovation across gaming products. The position combines hands-on design execution with strategic ownership and team mentorship.

Core Responsibilities
- Define and drive the long-term UX/UI vision for online gaming products, aligning design direction with business and product strategy.
- Lead the end-to-end design process from discovery and ideation to high-fidelity execution and final delivery.
- Design intuitive player journeys through structured user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and scalable design systems.
- Establish, document, and continuously refine design frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure cohesive and high-quality user experiences.
- Leverage user research, usability testing insights, behavioral data, and analytics to inform and validate design decisions.
- Advocate for user-centered thinking across the organization and communicate complex design concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct design reviews, ensure consistency across products, and maintain visual and interaction excellence.
- Mentor and guide designers within the team, fostering craftsmanship, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity within the online casino or gaming industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, including building and scaling design systems.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect design decisions to measurable business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of UX methodologies, interaction patterns, and usability principles.
- Exceptional visual design skills, including strong command of typography, color theory, and layout systems.
- Proven experience designing for mobile and responsive web platforms.
- Demonstrated mastery of the full design lifecycle, from research and concept development to pixel-perfect execution.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ability to navigate complex product ecosystems and stakeholder environments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Impressive portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and diverse, high-quality design work.
- Up-to-date knowledge of evolving UI trends, tools, and technologies.
